A traditional botanical illustration repeat of an English geranium. Geraniums bear long, narrow fruit that is said to be shaped like the bill of a Crane. The origin of the name Geranium stems from the modern Latin geranion, from the Greek geranos meaning ‘crane’.

The design is inspired by The Royal Botanical Gardens in Kew.
