The Lowndes Sofa | Todhunter Earle x Lorfords Contemporary
Part of our design collaboration with Todhunter Earle Interiors.
Inspired by planning a contemporary London penthouse, The Lowndes sofa has a distinctive cubic framework and contemporary style to it with precise, angular lines and sartorial detailing.
Combining a modern aesthetic with traditional, hand-crafted comfort, each sofa is built in modular elements making the design suitable for smaller access properties.
Both sofa and accompanying armchair are mounted on a concealed solid beech plinth base, so that the pieces appear to float off the floor. This sofa also features a completely seamless top seat cushion.
Expertly hand-crafted with a solid beech wood frame from FSC certified sources and all natural inner-materials, The Lowndes sofa is also available as a corner piece, and can be finished in custom fabric and is available in bespoke sizing.
