Penny Morrison x Lorfords Contemporary

One silhouette. Endless possibilities. Penny Morrison's debut upholstery collection for Lorfords Contemporary celebrates the transformative power of fabric.

The collaboration marks a significant milestone in a relationship that stretches back to the very beginnings of Lorfords Contemporary. One of the upholstery studio's earliest clients, Penny Morrison has worked closely with our team for over a decade on bespoke commissions, united by a shared appreciation for craftsmanship, superb comfort and beautifully considered design. As we celebrates its tenth anniversary, the partnership felt a natural one to highlight resulting in a collection that showcases both brands' expertise at its very best.

Turner and Pocock x Lorfords Contemporary

This collaborative collection grew out of a longstanding relationship between Turner Pocock and Lorfords Contemporary. Nasia has worked with Bunny Turner and Emma Pocock for years, designing and crafting bespoke furniture to meet their clients’ exacting requirements. This has culminated in a collection that combines Turner Pocock’s signature aesthetic with our expertise in traditional luxury furniture.

EADIE & CROLE X LORFORDS CONTEMPORARY

Interior design studio Eadie & Crole take an exciting new step in their design journey with the launch of their first-ever range of upholstery - a trio of original, handcrafted pieces that capture the colour, pattern, and spirit of their upcoming AW25 fabric launch, The Mary Collection. Created in collaboration with renowned Cotswold makers Lorfords Contemporary, the debut pieces feature a considered blend of natural, luxury materials - responsibly sourced for comfort, integrity and durability - with British wool as its standout hero. A celebration of fabric, form, and conscious craftsmanship - all designed to live together beautifully.

Edward Bulmer Natural Paint x Lorfords Contemporary

A celebration of contemporary colour, we’re proud to launch our first collaboration with Edward Bulmer Natural Paint, debuting The Brighton bench with natural, sustainable materials and painted detailing. Their 100+ earth-derived colours are now available across our entire range, offering breathable, VOC-free finishes that perfectly complement our traditionally crafted, eco-conscious furniture, in our first capsule collection.

Todhunter Earle x Lorfords Contemporary

This debut collection combining impeccable, sustainable style with supreme British hand-crafted comfort, is Todhunter Earle’s first upholstery collaboration. The eight new pieces, all created to sit within a variety of traditional and contemporary schemes, were designed by Kate Earle and developed by the Lorfords Contemporary in house team of skilled craftsmen and upholsterers.

Thyme x Lorfords Contemporary

Our debut collaboration with our friends over at Bertioli, the sibling brand of destination hotel Thyme in the Cotswolds. Based just down the road from our workshop, we've worked with the team there designing bespoke pieces of upholstery including sofas, headboards and slipper chairs for a number of rooms at the hotel, with inspiration taken from Thyme's beautiful surroundings.

Haines x Lorfords Contemporary

Designed in partnership with the Jules Haines - founder of online platform Haines. An evolving collection of designs hand crafted from responsibly sourced materials and fabrics. Working with Jules has been a great opportunity to show how we’re evolving as a modern furniture business and celebrates the bringing together of brands that are championing how to design and shop differently with the environment in mind.

Natasha Hulse x Lorfords Contemporary

We’re delighted to have collaborated with British artist Natasha Hulse on a new series of headboard designs which showcase Natasha’s beautiful work using reclaimed textiles. Individually hand-crafted, each headboard takes inspiration from the local Cotswold countryside, decorated with hand-painted 3D floral appliqué using eco-conscious materials and our own reclaimed Vintage Cloth fabrics.
