The Mayfair sofa is the most luxuriously cushioned sofa in our collection, with indulgent proportions and a high feather and down content, our customers have described this sofa as ‘like sitting on a cloud’. The Mayfair is an abundantly cushioned sofa with calming curves throughout its design, it is a strong statement of English opulence and traditional form. This sofa is our answer to a classic country house sofa, inspired by the highly traditional Howard & Sons Wimborne sofa.
This version of our Mayfair sofa includes covering in vintage cloth; our answer to a sustainable upholstery fabric. We have a refined colour range of vintage linen and hemp cloth, hand dyed in small batches using entirely natural materials. The beautiful woven textures of these fabrics are enhanced by the richly saturated colour. You can find out more about these distinctive fabrics here.
